Jack Baker – Manager of Hockey Operations and Skills Coach
Originally from South Boston, Massachusetts, Jack Baker now resides in El Segundo, California, with his wife and two teenage sons. A proud hockey dad, Jack’s oldest son, Max, was a member of the 2023 Little League World Series Championship team—an achievement that reflects the family’s deep-rooted commitment to sports and competition.
Playing Career:
Jack enjoyed a decorated playing career that began at Thayer Academy, one of Boston’s top prep schools, where he played four years of varsity hockey. Thayer has a storied hockey tradition, producing NHL stars such as Tony Amonte, Jeremy Roenick, Mike Mottau, Brooks Orpik, Adam Gaudette, and Charlie Coyle. Jack represented Team USA at the Select 16 and 17 levels and competed in the World Under-18 Tournament in 1997.
He continued his hockey journey at Boston University under legendary coach Jack Parker, earning three Beanpot titles and posting 9 points (6G, 3A) in eight Beanpot games. Following college, Jack signed with the Philadelphia Flyers and played professionally in both the AHL and ECHL.
Coaching Career:
Jack began coaching in the USA Hockey/Massachusetts Satellite Program and served on the coaching staff at Thayer Academy in 2004–2005. Since relocating to California in 2008, he has coached all levels—from youth to adults—with a special focus on individual skill development and hockey IQ.
He currently serves as a Skills Coach at Goal Line Performance (2018–Present) and is an Assistant Coach at Bosco Prep (2024–Present), emphasizing game readiness, positioning, and compete level. Known for his energy, leadership, and mentorship, Jack is always there for the team doing whatever it takes to help the program succeed.
Sergio Movilla – 18U Head coach
Born in Barcelona, Spain and raised in Ottawa, Canada, Sergio Movilla brings a diverse and international background to the game of hockey. He developed his skills playing youth hockey in Ottawa and attended Ashbury College Prep before continuing his athletic and academic journey as a collegiate athlete at Carleton University.
Sergio went on to play professionally in Europe, spending three seasons overseas. His most notable achievement came during the 2008–09 season when he helped lead FC Barcelona to an undefeated campaign and a Premier League championship. He returned the following season to represent the club in the prestigious IIHF Continental Cup.
With over a decade of coaching experience, Sergio has been a passionate leader in developing players of all levels. Based in Southern California, he has run numerous camps and clinics, focusing on skill development, hockey IQ, and mentorship.
A USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach, Sergio combines a wealth of international playing experience with a strong commitment to player growth and development, both on and off the ice.
Tomas Kapusta – 16U Head Coach
Tomas served as a coach with the Jr Kings organization for eleven years and coached at the Jr. Reign organization for last 12 years. Tomas is currently the Jr. Reign Hockey Director. Tomas was selected by the Edmonton Oilers with the 104th overall pick in the fifth round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft and competed in all three Junior World Championships between 1985 and 1987. Throughout his 20-year professional career, Tomas represented the Czech Republic, notably at the 1993 World Championship in Germany and the 1994 Olympics in Norway. In 1993, He took home the Elite Finnish League scoring title. Tomas was also a part of each three winning teams in the Czech Republic Extra League. He graduated from CSULA with a Degree in social science and from CSULB with a teaching credential. Tomas currently teaches at Excel Charter School Academy as a Teacher of Record.
Jason Stewart – President of Hockey Operations
As a certificated educator with over 20 years of teaching experience in the classroom, hockey coaching, scouting, and program development, Jason is now founding the Bosco Hockey Prep School to emerge as a leader in youth hockey development in the Southern California area. Previous experience includes working at the Edge School in Calgary, Alberta, St. Francis Xavier High School in Edmonton, Alberta and establishing the most successful accredited hockey school program in Western Canada, the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). Jason also serves as a scout for the Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL and oversees all hockey operations at Bosco Hockey Prep School.
Justin Reynolds – President of Business Operations
With more than 25 years of experience in hockey coaching, scouting, and program development, Justin oversees the business operations of Bosco Hockey Prep School. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in supporting hockey operations and recruitment. Justin, the founder and president of Sports Evaluations Ltd, is a global leader in licensing a team selection app and offers independent evaluation/assessment services in hockey and all team sports. Currently, he is actively involved in scouting for the Sioux City Musketeers in the USHL.
Ben Frank – Director
Ben joins Bosco Hockey Prep School as the founder and president of the Ontario Jr. Reign and holds various board member positions with USA Hockey and CAHA. A former collegiate and professional hockey player, Ben is also the owner of the Carlsbad Arena. With an advisory role within the organization, Ben contributes extensive experience serving on boards at all levels, aiming to elevate Bosco Hockey Prep into a premier elite hockey development experience.
